This policy explains how TapRibbon handles information when you visit our store, contact us, or purchase a review card.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, optional order number, topic, and message you submit. Please do not include payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information in the contact form.
When you place an order, we receive your contact details, shipping address, order items, and the business name and public Google listing needed to configure your card. Payment details are handled by the payment provider used at checkout; our contact form does not collect them.
When you request the FIRST50 discount, we receive your email address and discount request. Marketing emails are sent only if you separately opt in. When you submit a bulk inquiry, we receive your name, email, business name, requested quantity, and any message you provide.
Information from visiting the store
Shopify and our service providers process technical information such as IP address, browser type, request details, cookies, and device information to operate and protect the store. The custom theme uses browser storage to remember offer dismissal, discount eligibility, and an applied code; it does not store your email address in browser storage. If you separately opt in at signup, we may send TapRibbon offers and updates. You can unsubscribe using a marketing email’s unsubscribe link or contact us at compassleadss@gmail.com. Contact-form messages and discount requests do not by themselves subscribe you to marketing.
Browser privacy signals and third-party collection
The custom theme does not include advertising pixels for cross-site targeted advertising. Its preference storage does not automatically change in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Shopify operates the store platform and can process visitor information through its own services. Store apps, pixels, and customer privacy choices are managed through Shopify settings. We do not sell signup or order information or share it with advertisers for cross-site targeted advertising. If these practices change, we will update this policy and implement any required privacy choices before the change.
How we use information
- Answer questions, respond to bulk inquiries and discount requests, and handle returns, refunds, or delivery issues.
- Configure cards for the correct business, fulfill orders, and provide order updates.
- Protect the store, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell contact information or use contact-form messages to enroll you in marketing emails.
Service providers and external links
Shopify processes and stores order details and discount signups for store operation. Checkout, payment, fraud-prevention, and order-notification services may process information necessary to perform those functions. Keep order-status links private because they can provide access to order information. Discount signups are not sent to our support inbox. Contact messages and bulk inquiries are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to our support inbox hosted by Gmail. These services process your message to provide delivery, security, and email functions. Site hosting, shipping carriers, and any checkout provider also process information needed for their services.
Entering a tracking number on our tracking page sends that number to USPS. Tapping your card opens Google, where Google’s own privacy policy and review rules apply. TapRibbon does not collect the text or rating customers submit through Google’s review form.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including resolving requests and maintaining records required by law. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided by using Contact Us and selecting “Privacy request.” Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights. We may need to verify your identity, and may retain records where legally required. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children and policy updates
The store is intended for business customers and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be explained on this page, and we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
